The majority of the sections of the mass media add English words. For example in the feminine press these words are very common: shorts, jeans, gloss, celebrity and shopping.
Sports:
In the incorporation three stages exist:
1)We think that it's better use the official word.(goal, corner, football...)
2)We replace the foreign word for a national word.(gol, chute, fútbol...)
3)Today, we prefer the original word.
For example:
- Rugby, cricket, golf :the same spelling and pronuntation.
- Voleyball : only tanslate the half of the word.
- Club :the same spelling but different pronuntation.
Tecnology:
In the pages of scientific and technological information of the newspapers appear a lot of words.
They use them because they think that if they translate them this lost precision or they need use more words.
Examples:
- Bluetooth ->Device of transmission of information without cables.
- Blog -> diary in the net.
Economy:
Another section where we can a lot of english words.Economy information has a special section in all the newspaper.This is because english dominates in the economy.Some of them as desinvestment, stagflation or refinancing have adapted but other that flow, cash or trust have been kept in english.
Leisure:
In pages dedicates to leisure there are many words as thriller, primetime, reality show, singles, hobby, etc. Generally all sections have a lot of anlgicism that reflect the importance of american lenguage.
